How do you know your business will be ok in the event of a little problem? … like what if your web developer owns your domain and stops your website, email and other services overnight?
Mobile apps are all the rage and I can’t yet see a time when that enthusiasm for them will die out. But is it being driven by the wants and needs of customers or by marketing folk and business owners.
I think it’s the latter and it means companies and brands assume they must have an app for their thing. They absolutely must have an app for their restaurant so you can see the menu, their business isn’t complete without an app for their web software or they will miss out on sales if they don’t have an app for their car dealership.
Big Data and privacy are two big buzz words at the moment, but what implications can they have for us in the real world? Well for one, big corporations are beginning to use this data to identify you even though you don’t know it and they are going to sell you something for exactly the maximum price you’re willing to pay and not a penny less.
